This month I’m sharing colorful all-occasion greeting card.
Handmade Greeting Card with Ribbon

This is a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ basic layered top fold card.  When I was unpacking (from my second move!) I found a folder of patterned papers that I obviously could not live without.  That’s pretty funny because I almost NEVER use design paper.  Well, buckle-up – you’re gonna be seeing some design paper from me ’cause I’m determined to use it up.  You can see all the layers I used and I added my signature mulberry paper layer behind the main panel.  Along with the bow, I used a layered bit of ribbon behind the main sentiment panel.  I love that look.  That’s a great way to use ribbon, and still keep the card flat for mailing if you omit the bow and flowers. I also added a few mulberry roses to the bottom of the sentiment.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using the pretty plaid ribbon from the March Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This headband was created on a 1/2″ Ivory Plastic Headband using the printed satin ribbon from the March Ribbon Club Assortment along with a piece of 3/8″ hot pink double-faced satin ribbon.
