Vintage Snowman Card for PTT Anything Goes Challenge #193

Hi there.  It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Party Time Tuesdays Challenge Blog.  This is weekly Anything Goes Challenge Blog and we’d love to have you come over and join the fun.

Today I am working with a fun Vintage Collage Sheet from My Artistic Adventures:  Shabby Chic Snowmen Tags.

I fussy cut the snowmen and layered them popping up the one in front slightly with foam dots.  You can also cut these images with your Silhouette if you know how to do such things.  By the time I figured that out, I could have cut out a dozen of them…..  Someday……sigh
I have a strip of Raw Silk Diamond Satin running around the middle of the card on top of a 7/8″ wide piece of jade cardstsock and my beautiful double-loop double-layer bow is made from Rose Petal Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I created the bow with my Bow-it-All V2.0.
My buttons are embellished with Pink Burlap String and the teeny tiny 1/2″ bow was also made with my Bow-it-All Tool.  And of course you can see the pretty pink mulberry paper peeking out behind the center panel.  (My new signature style – lol)
I was having so much fun, I carried the theme over to the inside.
This card has been entered in the following challenges:
I hope you’ll head over to the Party Time Tuesdays Challenge Blog and play along with our challenge this week.  We’d love to see what you are creating.
Thanks for stopping by!

Snowman Fun Card

I’ve been playing with my December Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I love the winter themed gray, silver, white and blue combo.  It’s such a versatile mix.

This assortment contains 9 ribbon and trim styles for a total of 17 yards.
Need a gift for a crafty friend?  RRR offers 3, 6 and 12-month gift subscriptions!

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been working with my Copic markers again and I’m determined to master them.  Not quite there yet, but I’m improving.  This cute digital image is from Whimsie Doodles.  I just love their designs!!

I used the Silver Grosgrain and the Priscilla White Crochet Lace from the December Ribbon Club Assortment on my card.  Two strips of the lace are adhered with Scor-Tape behind the Silver Grosgrain which runs behind the snowman image.
My double-loop double-layer bow was made using my Bow-it-All V2.0.  This tool is worth it’s weight in gold!!  My all time favorite tool by a long shot.
Did you notice my white mulberry paper peeking out under my dark pink layer?  I have hoarded a supply of this that will last 10 lifetimes (all acquired in the late 1990’s or early 2000’s when it was very popular).  I’m staging a comeback – lol.   I love the stuff and I’m using my stash!!  Do you have some squirreled away too?

I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
Whimsie Doodles Merry and Bright Challenge
Craft Hoarders Anonymous #21 – Celebrate the Season
