Happy Anniversary Card

Hi friends. Today I’m sharing a pretty floral anniversary card that I made with some of my favorite dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and a great digital sentiment from Graciellie Design.
My card today features one of the sentiments from the Elegant Greetings set from Graciellie Design.  I love to feature sentiments on my card along with pretty handmade flowers.  This collection has lots of useful sentiments along with a pretty flower image.

I don’t think it’s any secret that I LOVE the floral dies from Cheery Lynn Designs too. Today I’m featuring the Daisy Strip and foliage from the Floral Bouquet kit.

My card is built much like all the cards I make – lots of layers!  It’s pretty easy to see from the photo what layers I created which have a layer of white mulberry paper at the bottom before the 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ card base.

I cut the Lattice Frame die in white and adhered it to a mottled purple background paper that I created using Distress Inks.  I then trimmed that down to the size I needed for my top layer.  The pretty Happy Anniversary digital stamp from Graciellie Design was printed and then trimmed to size and layered on purple cardstock.

There is a layer of 5/8″ Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon topped with 3/8″ Mixed Purple Bold Diagonal Grosgrain Ribbon under the sentiment and then that is layered over an aqua rectangle and affixed to the front of the card.  I created and shaped my daisies and arranged them along with the foliage under my sentiment.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using two ribbons from the July Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The July Assortment is available through the end of August 2017.

Graciellie Design August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Graciellie Design August Blog Hop.

Today is my first post as a designer for Graciellie Design and it’s my pleasure to introduce the new coordinating Magnolia Dreams Collection.  I hope you’ll hop thought all the stops in this blog hop and see all the fabulous projects.  Be sure to comment on all the stops for a chance to win a $10 coupon for the Graciellie Design shop.  There are also two more new stamp sets not shown on my post, so be sure to hop through so you see them all

You should have arrived here from the Graciellie Design Blog which is the beginning of the hop.  This gorgeous Magnolia Dreams Collection includes a digital stamp set, paper pack and an SVG set of 5 cuts that coordinate with the patterns in the new paper pack.

Graciellie Design is also collaborating with The Paper Temptress this month and that Blog Hop started yesterday August 1st, so please head on over and take a look at those projects too and enter to win some additional prizes.

I used several of the pretty digital papers from the Magnolia Dreams set along with the magnolia image and one of the sentiments.

I’m new to using digital papers, but the papers were quite easy to print out and use.  I resized the flower to fit the circle die I wanted to use and I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils. I then sized the digital sentiment down to fit in the tag die and printed that as well.  The best part of digital stamps is being able to resize them for whatever card size you want to make.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color bow made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  My bow center is adorned with a pretty heart shaped pearl embellishment.
