Friends Make the Good Times Better…

Hello ribbon lovers.  Summer is exiting quickly and I’m just having trouble keeping up!  I’m still loving the bi-color double-loop bow style and my card today is featuring this very bow created with my favorite ribbon styles from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I soooo wanted to use this purple bow with the gingham on this card, but I just couldn’t make it work.  I thought it might with the thin purple borders on the card, but nooooo.  So, I have a purple bow in the bank for another project.
The gorgeous bow on my card below was made with Jade Diamond Satin Ribbon and White Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon on my Bow-it-All V2.0.  You can view a video tutorial on how easy this bow is to make on my YouTube Channel HERE.
This bow adds quite a punch to finish off your card.  This is my all-time favorite bow.  It’s easy to make and makes you look like a master bow-maker!

Bright Summer Colors Birthday Card

Hello friends.  Today I’m sharing a fun and colorful birthday card that I made for my niece.  I am featuring Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon on my card today, and it’s one of my favorite ribbon styles.  It has a lightly embossed diamond pattern with a nice sheen to the ribbon so it really stands out.  I comes in a wide variety of colors as well.

If you haven’t tried out this great Diamond Satin Ribbon yet, we have lots of great color assortments to choose from where you’ll get five 2-yard coordinating colors.  I just added this fun Purple Diamond Satin Assortment which I LOVE!
I ran 5 coordinating ribbon colors over the top of the card panel and created a dove-tail cut at the bottom of each.  The bow is a simple double-loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V2.0.  You can view a video tutorial on how to create this bow HERE.
This great Happy Birthday die from My Favorite Things is a pleasure to work with.  I sponged a rainbow of colors to match my ribbon on to a piece of white cardstock.  I then cut out the words using my birthday die set.  I also cut a word set from black cardstock.  I then layered the black on the bottom to create a shadow.  That really makes the words ‘pop’.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
Supplies:
Dies:  MFT DieNamics Happy Birthday and Pierced Rectangle Stax
Ink:  Memento Rose Bud, Tangelo, Dandelion, New Sprout and Bahama Blue
Adhesive:  Scotch ATG, Designer Dries Clear Glue, E6000
Embossing Folder:  Darice

Happy Birthday – Enjoy Your Special Day

Hi everyone, I’m back with another post today.  It’s either feast or famine with me, right?
Be sure to scroll down so you don’t miss my previous post.

I’ve been meaning to try to play along with the MFT Challenges for a while since I got my first order of stamps and dies, so today is the day!  I’m loving the word art stamps and dies I ordered.
I created my beautiful bow with white and capri blue Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon using my Bow-it-All V2.0.  To view a video tutorial on how this bow was made, please click HERE.
This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE design paper combos from my stash and I’ve had it forever.  I just love the shade of blue.  If you look back to my very first post on this blog in 2012, you will see this very same paper.  That tells you how old it is.  I still have a little left so you may see it again in 2 or 3 years when I allow myself to use it again!  Do you have any papers or trims that you just can’t bear to use since you love them so much?
And here is a peek at this inside of my card.
