Really Reasonable Ribbon June Blog Hop

Welcome to the RRR June Blog Hop.
If you arrived here from Amber’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.
This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment celebrates summer. I just love all the fun bright colors!

I just love bright summer colors and I went hog wild with this card.  I used 4 of the ribbon styles from the assortment and they work very well together.

The fun bi-color bow was created with my Bow-it-All V2.0.  This tool has changed my life!  I use it on almost all of my projects and it makes creating show-stopping bows quick and easy.  To view all my Bow-it-All tutorials, please visit my YouTube channel.

Birthday Wishes for a Special Young Man

Hi friends.  Today I have a fun birthday card to share that would be perfect for a cute young man.  I’m loving the aqua and jade color combination with a little accent of red featuring some great ribbons and burlap string from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I used jade Diamond Satin around the center of the card and layered some red Burlap Sting over it.  I also have a little ‘tag’ of ribbon at the bottom.  When I’m creating a card for a man or a boy and I know I will use less ribbon, I like to use something with a little pattern or texture so it will stand out.  I love the subtle embossed pattern on the diamond satin ribbon.
For the bow I just took two short scraps of ribbon and laid them on the table one above the other.  Then I did a simple running stitch through one and then the other.  I gathered the pieces and added a button to the center.  Then I trimmed the edges on the diagonal.

Have Big Dreams, You’ll Grow into them…….

Have big dreams, you’ll grow into them.  What fabulous advice!
Hi everyone, Bonnie here today to share a fun card and awesome bow using Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I’ve gone with one of my favorite color combinations again – purple and green.  The compliment each other so nicely.  I wanted to play along with this week’s Cheery Lynn Challenge, but I didn’t have any corner dies, so what’s a girl to do??  Well, you get out your dies and figure out how to make some out of what you have – that’s what!  One of my favorite dies is the Cherry Lynn Designs Burlap Border, so I got that out and went to work.  I like how my decorative corners came out.  Whaddaya think?
I created my bow using emerald and apple greed Delicate Stitched Satin and my Bow-it-All V2.0, both from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I will include my video tutorial below in case you missed it the first time I posted it.  It’s such and easy bow and it really is a ‘show-stopper’.
