A Very Merry Christmas

Hello everyone and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
It’s crunch time – lots to do, but I just wanted to pop in quick and wish you all a Merry Christmas and share my annual Christmas card.

Of course I had to add a little ribbon accent from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Who can resist!!  I used 5/8″ Red Satin Swirls Ribbon.  I simply tied a knot rather than making a full bow in order to keep things flatter for mailing.

The beautiful pop-up interior was made with my Silhouette Cameo.  I just LOVE this machine.  What a time saver.  I have been making elaborate pop-up Christmas cards for years and believe it or not, I used to cut them all out by hand with an exacto knife.  ðŸ™‚

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.  Enjoy your families and eat lots of cookies!!

A Snowflake is a Winter Butterfly….

I’m swinging in at the last minute again to play along with my favorite Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge.  This week the theme is sparkle and shine.  I always feel like it’s a race to the finish because the one day I set aside each week for ‘playing’ is Saturday.

I have a round card again today because I just can’t get enough of the Cheery Lynn Designs Lords and Commons Doily.  Isn’t it just gorgeous?  Love those CLD Small Exoctic Butterflies too!!
To fit the theme, I have some light blue glitzy cardstock and I’ve also added some Diamond Dust glitter around the outer edge of the sentiment panel and on the butterflies although it doesn’t show well in the photos.
That beautiful bow is made with 5/8″ White Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I created it with my Bow it All V2.0 Tool.  Visit my YouTube Channel to see how to create these gorgeous bows.
And here’s a little peek at the inside….
I’ve entered my card in the following challenges:
Fussy and Fancy Challenge 129 Snowflakes and Ribbon (maybe pushing the snowflake thing, but the word snowflake is on there……   🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

Can you believe the big guy will be here in just a few days?  Where did December go?
I have a couple more Christmas images that I colored up to share in the next couple days – in between baking cookies, wrapping presents, and oh yeah, the full time job!

I used one of my favorite plaid ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon on this fun card.  I made a double-loop, double-layer bow on my Bow-it-All V2.0 using the Red/Green Christmas Plaid Ribbon.  The plaid across the bottom of the card is layered over some 7/8″ Ruby Red Satin.
Want to see how I created this bow?  Visit my Bow-it-All Tutorials on YouTube HERE.

The adorable Santa image is a digital stamp from Whimsie Doodles.  I’ve added a little glitter to Santa’s hat and coat trim to jazz him up a bit.  Still working on that Copic shading….

I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
