Hi everyone and welcome to the March Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Judy’s Blog
, then you are on the right track. If you just happened along, be sure to hop back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog
and start from the beginning so you don’t miss a thing.
Really Reasonable Ribbon
just got a fun new product in from Glue Dots
. I used the XXL 2″ wide glue dots to create my ribbon flowers. They also come in an XL 1″ size. There are 24 pieces in the 2″ package for $5.19 and 60 pieces in the 1″ package for $4.19. We also carry Glubers
in two sizes which do basically the same thing.
It’s so easy to create terrific ribbon flowers with these products. The smaller glue dots are also terrific for adhering larger embellishments to your projects.
I also made the two flowers above because I was having so much fun! These will be put aside for future projects. Each of the flowers above used about 1 yard of ribbon. The loopy flower on my card used about 2 yards.

You just can’t go wrong with Seam Binding
! Just spritz with a little water, scrunch it up and leave it in a big ball to dry. Then you have to most amazing crinkly, wrinkly shabby looking ribbon. I think it makes a great bow and it’s so forgiving to work with too. Really Reasonable Ribbon
has over 30 colors in stock.
I created this card using sketch 65 over at Papertake Weekly.
This card is for my niece Dani’s birthday. I hope she likes it. 🙂

We’ve got a fun new challenge today with a Monochromatic Green Theme at Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings!
I didn’t have much time this week, so it’s a quick and easy card this time around.
I stamped my sentiment and layered it on some green cardstock pieces, added a few short strips of ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon
, some die-cut flourishes and a quick little gathered rose.
To make the rose I took a piece of 1″ wide Scor-Tape
and made a little circle. I took my green shimmer Satin and started on the outer edge and gathered it as I went and stuck it down in a spiral motion until I reached the middle. I poked a little hole and finished off the center with a flower shaped brad. Easy-peasy. 🙂
