My color palette today is red, white and blue which corresponds with the Really Reasonable Ribbon May Ribbon Club Assortment.  This is a very versatile and bold color palette and I think it works for just about any summer occasion.  I love how it looks on this birthday card.

I created my blue background paper and the papers I used for my flowers and butterfly using distress inks and distress oxide inks.  I used just about all the reds, blues and greens to create the papers.  I cut and shaped my flowers from the Floral Bouquet Kit from Cheery Lynn Designs using a foam pad and stylus and added the foliage and flowers to the lower left corner building from the bottom up starting with the foliage.  The flower centers are 10 and 14mm Half Pearls from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

My bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the May Ribbon Club Assortment.  You can see a third red patterned satin ribbon peeking out beneath the flowers and butterfly that I wrapped around the center of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop.
Your next stop on the hop is AJ’s Blog.
I’d love for you to leave a comment before you go.
