Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Halloween themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.10-13-16-2

I love the wonderful subtle texture you get by using the Large Parallel Rectangular Pierce Plate.  I use it quite a bit when a white background is just too plain.

My sentiment was cut in black and orange and layered to create the shadow effect.  I cut my pumpkins in orange, then added brown stems and backed them with yellow for a jack-o-lantern look.  I have some grass behind them.  My sentiment is up on foam tape and I shaped the bat wings a bit before adding the bats.10-13-16-3I added the boo sentiment and a scary ghost to the inside of my card.10-13-16-4
